Watch: Three Tornadoes Touch Down in Nebraska

Jeff Gonzalez, a weather reporter for Omaha’s WOWT caught live footage three tornadoes on the ground near Pilger, NE around 4:20 p.m. local time. The tornadoes were produced by a large supercell that Gonzalez said has produced “one tornado after another,” and was “unlike anything” he had seen “lately here in Nebraska.” WOWT reported that one of the tornadoes was “at least 1⁄4 mile wide” and was moving at speeds of 40-45 mph. They also stated that the storms caused “lots of destruction” in the town of Pilger.
