Woodward: Obama is Still Not Listening

Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” journalist Bob Woodward said President Barack Obama is not listening, after watching host Bob Schieffer’s interview with the president about his party’s defeat in last week’s midterm elections.

Woodward said, “Obama is selling what happened in the midterm election and trying to put the best spin on it. I found the interview with Obama very revealing because he said, reach out to the other side, to persuade and sell it. You’re going to reach out to the other side on something one of the things you want to do is listen. But we didn’t hear that. And what we heard is the continuous Obama line, ‘I’m heading in the right direction, this is right.’ No one knows better than Obama that all these powers are shared with Congress, and ‘go it alone’ approach is just not going to work.”
