Tuesday, former Defense Intelligence Agency Director and current adviser and potential vice-presidential running mate selection of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, Lt. Gen Michael Flynn (Ret.), appeared on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” and CNN’s “New Day.”
Flynn said,”The people in that [GOP] establishment, they need to check their egos. They need to check their egos. In Trump’s case — I met with Donald Trump almost a year ago, the latter part of last summer. I found him to be an incredible listener.”
On Fox News Channel’s “Fox and Friends,” Flynn said, “Donald Trump is a great listener. I’ve had an opportunity to speak with him. I have provided advice for quite some time now to him, and I would tell you he’s a great listener, he asks great questions and he’s somebody that has a vision for this country that I think we need right now, we desperately need.”

On Obama, Flynn added, “I never had an opportunity to talk to the president. Here I was running one of the largest intelligence agencies, not only in the United States but in the world. I was a senior military officer for our government and I spent nearly five years in combat against this very vicious enemy and we’re providing this and I never met President Obama. ”
On CNN’s “New Day,” Flynn confirmed he will vote for Donald Trump whether or not he is the vice-presidential pick, saying “I have no problems voting for him. Absolutely. I would not think a second to vote for anybody else. I think at this stage this is a guy that provides a different vision, a different way to solve problems, a different leadership style and a sense of change that I believe the majority of people in this country really are starting to look at.”
