Monday on ABC’s “The View,” while discussing President Donald Trump’s tax plan, conservative author Ann Coulter expressed her confusion of Trump’s focus on tax cuts.

Partial transcript as follows:

HOSTIN: He put out one piece of paper recently outlining a tax reform plan in very broad strokes, very broad strokes.

BEHAR: I wrote it on my hand. Here it is.

HOSTIN: It’s clear when you try to read it, it could save corporations trillions of dollars which would benefit the Trump family and Trump’s businesses. does that at all bother you, and does it bother you that we haven’t seen his tax papers?

COULTER: It totally doesn’t bother me that we haven’t seen his taxes. I think it’s the same reason he doesn’t explain the remittances thing. I think he enjoys to drive the press crazy and he knows it drives them crazy. I think he wouldn’t mind putting his taxes out.

BEHAR: You don’t think he has anything to hide in there?

COULTER: No. But as for your point, because I agree with you on — I don’t know why we’re talking about tax cuts. He didn’t campaign on tax cuts. That’s every other Republican.
