Giuliani: Mueller ‘Lost His Notion of American Fairness’ – His Idea of Exoneration ‘Foreign to American Law’

On Wednesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani stated that Special Counsel Robert Mueller has “lost his notion of American fairness” and “this notion of exoneration, it’s completely foreign to American law.”

Giuliani said, “When he entered this notion of exoneration, it’s completely foreign to American law. … I did it for years. I never exonerated anyone. I found, is there enough evidence to bring a charge or isn’t there? If there’s not enough evidence to bring a charge, end of case, case is over.”

Giuliani added, “[H]e’s lost his notion of American fairness. I think it’s — to me as a lawyer, it’s astounding that he’s expounding on, can we exonerate or can’t we exonerate, can’t we do this or can we do that? The reality is, he doesn’t have a case. He doesn’t have a collusion case. He doesn’t have an obstruction case.”
