'Duck Dynasty' Star Phil Robertson to GOP: 'Get Godly' or Else

Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson didn’t mince words while addressing the Republican Leadership Conference in New Orleans Thursday.

The reality show sensation told the crowd that the GOP must embrace God in its platform, or the country risks losing its way permanently.

GOP, you can’t be right for America if you’re wrong with God,” Robertson said. “You want to turn the Republican Party around? Get Godly.

Robertson, who was introduced by Tea Party favorite Sarah Palin, blasted racism during his speech. He also injected some self-deprecating humor into the presentation.

I guess the GOP may be more desperate than I thought to call somebody like me,” he said.
