Multi-hyphenate actor-rapper-TV host Nick Cannon went after comedians Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Sarah Silverman for their past use of blackface in a social media post this week, saying, “Tell the Jimmys to holla at me!”

“Are these your Kings of Late Night??? JimmyFallon JimmyKimmel you know I’m always on the side of the comedian and never pander to the sensitive, but I feel there needs to be some “truth & reconciliation” discussions and teachable moments amongst our communities,” Nick Cannon said.

“I’m ready and willing for the discourse, so who wants to step up to the table first? In the meantime, I’ll just leave this right here.”

Indeed, amid controversy about Gov. Ralph Northam’s (D-VA) use of blackface, many pointed out that liberal darlings like Fallon, Kimmel, and Silverman also performed in blackface over the years.

Kimmel used to make fun of NBA legend Karl Malone, while Fallon lampooned comedian Chris Rock.

Immediately following the Northam controversy breaking, both Fallon and Kimmel were silent on it, despite it being one of the top political stories in America.

In another Instagram post, Cannon called out Sarah Silverman. He also included a photo that depicts a couple with a woman in blackface. The photo is a social media hoax that falsely claims the couple in the photo to be Bill and Hillary Clinton.

Silverman has actually addressed her use of blackface, saying years later that it was “totally racist out of context” and that she regrets it.

Nick Cannon previously called out Silverman, along with comedians Chelsea Handler and Amy Schumer, for past use of homophobia in their jokes. This followed Kevin Hart stepping down from hosting the Oscars due to years-old gay jokes coming to light.
