'Better Together' Launch New Video as Polls Narrow in Scottish Independence Referendum

Better Together, the campaign against Scotland leaving the UK, have launched a new campaign video to be screened in Scottish cinemas.

Despite maintaining a lead in the polls, the gap has been narrowing in recent weeks, leading to some considering Scottish independence to now be a real possibility.

The ‘no’ campaign have been criticised for being too negative and effectively trying to scare Scots into voting against independence, rather than putting forward a positive vision for the future of the UK.

The latest ‘no’ campaign video makes use of young voters (16-year-olds will be able to vote in the referendum) to put forward the case for the “best of both worlds” – staying in the UK but with even more autonomy than Scotland already has.
