Economic Growth Slows in Britain

London, October 24 (QNA) – Britain’s economy slowed in the three months to the end of September, official figures showed Friday.

Gross domestic product grew by 0.7 per cent in the third quarter, weaker than the 0.9-per-cent rise registered in the previous three months, dpa reported.

However, overall output was still 3-per-cent higher than in the corresponding period last year.(QNA)
