TEL AVIV – A Florida woman has been arrested after confessing that she stabbed her toddler to death, stuffed the body in a suitcase, and threw it in a pond in order to “save” him from a Biblical flood.

27-year-old Egypt Moneeck Robinson’s boyfriend alerted authorities in Callaway that his girlfriend had killed her child. The woman (pictured), who seemed “distraught” according to the sheriff’s office, immediately admitted killing the child.

The sheriff’s spokeswoman told the Daily Mail that Robinson was placed in custody and taken to an area hospital to be treated for a self-inflicted wound.

A black suitcase floating in about 3 feet of water was found by police behind the house. The dead body of Robinson’s son, Aries Juan Acevedo, was discovered inside. An autopsy revealed that he had died from a stab wound more than 24 hours beforehand.

The toddler’s murder may be deemed “ritualistic in nature” by investigators.

The Daily Mail reported that one of the deputies responding to the crime was approached by Robinson who said, “Just put me into handcuffs. I did it. I killed my baby and put him inside of the suitcase.”

In his incident report, the deputy wrote that on the way to the sheriff’s office the woman made several comments about the end of the world and how she was trying to save her son from a Biblical flood.

Robinson was quoted as saying, “The world is going to flood and everyone was going to be drowned and I can’t be drowned, therefore, I have to be shot in the head.”

“I was just trying to save my baby!” she continued before later adding, “Everyone on Noah’s Ark relived and my baby will relive again!”
