Ynetnews reports: Two Haifa residents on their weekly coastal constitutional on Saturday ran into wreckage from EgyptAir Flight 804, which crashed in May.

Earlier in the month, wreckage was found on the beach in Netanya.

Dudi Marko and Avi Huber walk five kilometers every Saturday on Haifa’s beaches and have been doing so for 30 years. “We saw the piece, and it was obvious that it something unusual,” said Marko. “It wasn’t part of nature and also not regular trash. When we got closer, I immediately understood that it was a part of the plane.”

The two contacted a radio program which in turn alerted the police, who transferred the pieces to flight and investigation officials, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will handle the rest of the matter.
