Ynetnews reports: The Shin Bet, together with IDF and Border Police forces, has arrested a terror cell suspected of carrying out a shooting attack against an IDF force at the Jabara checkpoint near Taybeh and Tulkarm, it was cleared for publication on Sunday.
Three of the suspects are members of Palestinian security forces and another was released as part of the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange. The suspects are residents of Danaba and Tulkarm.
According to the Shin Bet, cell members were able to carry out seven attacks against IDF forces in the area before their arrest. “During the investigation, various weapons were seized, including two ‘Carlo’ sub-machine guns, six pipe bombs and an improvised explosive device,” the Shin Bet said in a statement.
