TEL AVIV – An Arab Muslim Israeli who describes herself as a Zionist slammed the UN’s cultural agency UNESCO for its decision to list the Tomb of the Patriarchs in the Old City of Hebron as an “endangered World Heritage site” under the “State of Palestine.”

Speaking in Arabic and standing outside the tomb, Sarah Zoabi, from the northern Israeli city of Nazareth, asked “how can anyone claim that the Jews have no right over Hebron?”

“All of the UN’s various attempts to blur the history that was written in blood will not succeed in erasing the right and the religious and historical connection between the People of Israel and this Land. Hebron is the City of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs of the Jewish people,” Zoabi said in the video published on Facebook.

“Why does the UN interfere only here?” she asked. “Where are all the countries that need help in the Middle East and other places?”

“I am endangering myself by telling the truth. But I will not be afraid to continue telling the truth,” she said.
