Police Launch Manhunt After Stabbing Attempt In Tel Aviv

The Times of Israel reports:  A soldier said he narrowly escaped a stabbing attempt at the entrance to an airport in northern Tel Aviv on Tuesday, according to police.

The alleged stabber is said to have escaped the scene in his car and large forces were deployed to search for the suspect in the busy city early Tuesday afternoon.

Police said the suspect was in a car and drove up to the soldier at a bus stop near the entrance to the Sde Dov airport.

The incident occurred at the intersection of Rokach boulevard and Ibn Gabirol boulevard, police said.
