UKIP Poster Appears at Top of Crane

A UKIP poster mysteriously appeared on top of a crane in the City of London over the weekend.

The poster, which has a purple and yellow design and simply reads “Vote UKIP”, was put up above the Balfour Beatty construction site next to Tower Hill underground station.

It was removed when construction work resumed at the site on Monday morning. As yet, no one knows how it got to the top of crane.

A Balfour Beatty spokeswoman told the Construction Enquirer: “As soon as we were made aware of the banner it was immediately removed.

“Balfour Beatty has no political party affiliations and we are looking into how this banner came to be displayed on private property without permission.”
