WESTMINSTER, United Kingdom – Communists and socialists gathered in Central London today to march through the nation’s capital, demanding “full communism” for the UK against a background of government cuts and austerity measures.
Thousands rallied, while bagpipers piped and drummers banged on, to oppose government austerity measures aimed at rolling back the size of the state, and geared towards emboldening the private sector.
Public sector workers and left-wing Members of Parliament marched happily alongside anarchist Black Bloc activists, as well as those calling for a full, one-pary, Communist regime in Britain.
