Erbil, Iraq, November 06 (QNA) – President of Kurdistan Region Massoud Barzani discussed with British Defense Secretary Michael Aaron developments in the war against the IS organization.
A statement by the presidency of the region today said that Barzani received in Erbil the British Defense Minister, who stressed that his country continues to support the Peshmerga forces in the war against terrorism.
The statement added that the two sides stressed the seriousness of the Peshmerga in defeating the terrorists and stop their progress,” adding that the British minister said that his country would continue to support and provide help and assistance to the region.
Meanwhile, Barzani praised the role of the United Kingdom by offering support in time, stressing that the region is proud in confronting the terrorists. (QNA)
