The video below shows the dramatic moment when an “eco-friendly” Toyota Prius burst into flames on the Euston Road in London last night.
The London Ambulance Service told the Evening Standard: “We were called at 11.52pm yesterday to reports of a car on fire on Euston Road. We sent a number of resources to the scene including the hazardous area response team. There were no patients.”
The website reports that the car was a private hire minicab, but although Toyota Prius’s form the backbone of Uber’s UberX network, the company said the car was not one of theirs.
