Police have closed Westminster Bridge after a “suspicious vehicle” was found parked near the Houses of Parliament.
MP Kevin Hollinrake tweeted that a controlled explosion was happening on the bridge.

However, no explosion has yet been heard, and others are reporting that the driver is being escorted back to his car.
