Employees at Facebook’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California arrived at work yesterday to find a large photo of Breitbart Tech editor Milo Yiannopoulos plastered on top of an LGBT-themed billboard outside the company offices.
The billboard, located just outside the Facebook offices, had a large print photo of Yiannopoulos attached to it by Twitter user @AJFoulopoulos. The Twitter user has a printing studio located near the Facebook offices and decided to print out a large photo that Yiannopoulos had posted to his Instagram profile depicting him standing in front of a confederate flag.
We reached out to @AJFouloupoulos to ask why he decided to paste the photo of Yiannopoulos onto the billboard, this is what he had to say. “I like that Milo is an actual, factual journalist and that he’s a fantastic debater from what I’ve seen. I’ve described him to friends and family as a gay, catholic/jew version of Christopher Hitchens. And, the hair. Love the hair.”
This led @AJFouloupoulos to use his own large format printer to create the huge photo of Yiannopoulos.

Choosing a photo featuring a confederate flag was no accident: “I just put the poster on the sign because I thought it was an interesting juxtaposition in light of Orlando and the Dylan Roof thing with the Confederate flag” said @AJFouloupoulos.
He also told Breitbart that the decision to attach it to Facebook’s billboard, although partly done on a whim, was also done to highlight his disapproval of the social media platform’s increasing censorship of conservative viewpoints and their restrictive rules in relation to free speech.
Milo has shown his appreciation for the fan’s gesture and has since retweeted the photo resulting in approximately 24 thousand impressions on Twitter.
