Official: We Had 'Correct Number' of Security Assets at Benghazi

Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Charlene Lamb had the worst three minutes of Congressional testimony since the Watergate scandal at Wednesday’s House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearings on the Benghazi attack. 

Committee Chairman Darrel Issa (R-CA) was incredulous as she claimed “we had the correct number of assets in Benghazi at the time of 9-11.” American Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens and three other Americans were killed on that day in Benghazi in an organized attack by Islamists:

Lamb’s claim, Issa said, “doesn’t ring true with the American people.”
