Hamas-Supporting Nobel Peace Laureates Demand Israel Boycott

Demonstrating once again the moral bankruptcy of the Nobel Peace Prize process, a series of Nobel Peace laureates has demanded a boycott against Israel over its measures against Hamas terrorists in Gaza. 52 famous signatures adorned an open letter to that effect, condemning both the United States and the European Union for not stonewalling Israel.

The signatures included Nobel Peace laureates Mairead Maguire (a backer of Hamas) and Adolfo Perez Esquivel, anti-Semitic academic Noam Chomsky, Roger Waters of Pink Floyd, and author Alice Walker. The letter states, “Horrified at the latest round of Israeli aggression against the 1.5 million Palestinians in the besieged and occupied Gaza Strip and conscious of the impunity that has enabled this new chapter in Israel’s decades-old violations of international law and Palestinian rights, we believe there is an urgent need for international action towards a mandatory, comprehensive military embargo against Israel.”

The letter also condemns Brazil, India, and South Korea for military ties with Israel “given their nominal support for Palestinian freedom.” Just to ensure that the Democratic Party is represented, anti-Semite Cynthia McKinney, an ardent supporter of Hamas and former Congresswoman, signed the letter, too.
