White Widow Penned Love Poem to Osama bin Laden

British intelligence officers released findings on Samantha Lewthwaite’s computer that portrays her as both a loving mother and an admirer of Osama bin Laden. The White Widow is one of the world’s most wanted women for her connections to the radical Islamic terrorist group al-Shabaab.

Lewthwaite has been on the run since 2011 when it was discovered she and Habib Ghani were planning on bombing a popular tourist hotel in Kenya. Their associate, Jermaine Grant, is currently on trial for the plot. They thought there was a romance between the Lewthwaite and Ghani, but the man she was married to was Abdi Wahid, a former Kenyan Navy officer.

Ghani is definitely connected to Samantha, but not in a romantic way, they were associates in the same cell in Mombasa that was intending to set off bombs in December 2011,” the anti-terror officer said. “The man in the picture with the children of Samantha’s, that is Abdi Wahid. He is the father of the youngest child. He has disappeared although we think that he has information that will help us, and he should give himself up to us.”

Her first husband was Germaine Lindsay, who was one of the 7/7 bombers and murdered over 25 people in the London Underground. After Lewthwaite publicly denounced her husband’s actions, she took their children to Kenya and became a key member to the al-Qaeda linked group al-Shabaab. There is no evidence she was involved in the Westgate Mall massacre, but after the attack Interpol issued an arrest warrant for her.

The photos show a total of four children, but no one knows the father of the third child. Lewthwaite is shown cradling her daughter Surajah in 2010 right after birth.

The laptop also revealed she spent many years researching bomb making and shopping for chemicals. Even more disturbing is a poem she wrote to Osama bin Laden, the man responsible for 9/11.

“Oh Sheik Osama my father, my brother/ My love for you is like no other,” she wrote, according to Sky News.

In her poem, Ms Lewthwaite promises to continue bin Laden’s terror campaign. “Us we are left to continue what you started/ To seek the victory until we are martyred/ To instil terror into kuffar/ Until the world is governed by la illaha illallah [God],” she wrote.
