Poll: More Than Three-Quarters of Israelis Reject Iran Deal

A majority of Israelis have no faith in the weekend agreement reached between Iran and the P5+1 nations.

A poll published in Israel Hayom shows that 76.4 percent of Israelis “[do] not believe Iran will halt its nuclear program” as a result of the agreement. Moreover, 57.8 percent of Israelis actually believe the U.S. harmed Israel by “singing the nuclear deal with Iran” in the first place.”

In the event Iran does continue its nuclear project, 45.8 percent of Israelis said they favor an Israeli military strike against Iran.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu received high marks for his opposition to the nuclear deal, with 55.3 percent of Israelis saying they were satisfied with his “performance.”
