Ireland’s Dan Martin of the Garmin team won the Tour of Lombardy one-day cycling classic on Sunday.
Martin surprised his breakaway rivals in the final kilometre to cross ahead of Spaniard Alejandro Valverde and Portugal’s Rui Costa after the 260 km race.
