Nov. 15 (UPI) — Minnesota Timberwolves guard Andrew Wiggins did his best Draymond Green impression by kicking away a defender while dunking on the New Orleans Pelicans.

The karate-style throw down came in the final two minutes of the Timberwolves’ 107-100 win on Wednesday at Target Center in Minneapolis.

Timberwolves big man Karl-Anthony Towns dished a short pass to Wiggins at the 3-point line, leading the guard to the rim. Wiggins sprinted around Pelicans defenders before going airborne.

He held the ball high in both hands while pushing forward his right leg. His right shoe went to the crotch of Nikola Mirotic, sending the Pelicans forward to the floor in agony as Wiggins completed the powerful slam.

Wiggins scored 23 points and had six rebounds, four assists and three steals for the Timberwolves. Pelicans guard E’Twaun Moore led all scorers with 31 points in the loss.

The Timberwolves look to win their third consecutive home game when they take on the Portland Trail Blazers at 8 p.m. on Friday in Minneapolis.
