Bear visits police parked on highway shoulder

June 7 (UPI) — A pair of Russian highway patrol officers’ encounter with a bear that came knocking on their patrol car door was captured on video by a fellow driver.

The video, filmed Wednesday, shows a curious bear walking up to the front door of a stopped police cruiser on the shoulder of a highway.

The bear stands on its hind legs and appears to attempt to open the door while the occupants of the filming car laugh at the scene.

“These highway patrol officers had a surprise visitor who must have smelt their lunch inside the car,” the filmer wrote.
