Big alligator removed from Florida road

May 7 (UPI) — Sheriff’s deputies in Florida said they responded to the side of a busy road to help remove a “very aggressive” 10-foot alligator.

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that deputies worked with state wildlife officers and a professional trapper Saturday night when the big gator was spotted along U.S. 41 in North Naples.

Deputies said the “very aggressive” alligator weighed more than 350 pounds.

The reptile was removed from the roadway without any injuries to human or gator.
