June 19 (UPI) — The 2018 edition of David Lynch’s Festival of Disruption, an annual arts and music event, is to take place at The Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles Oct. 13-14.

The lineup is expected to include musical performances by RZA, Dover Quartet, Dylan Carlson, Justin Johnson, Jeff Goldblum and The Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, Mike Patton and DJ QBert, Richard Reed Parry, Saint Motel and Vic Mensa.

Lynch and fellow filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola are to take part in question-answer sessions with attendees. There will also be a screening of Lynch’s movie Wild at Heart and actress Amber Tamblyn will give a dramatic reading of poems from her collection Dark Sparkler. Singer-actress Grace Jones and writer-comedian Carrie Brownstein are slated to speak, and art exhibits and meditation seminars are being planned.

“Dear Twitter Friends, @FestDisruption wants to disrupt the old bad, and bring in the new good! It returns to Los Angeles Oct 13-14, 2018 with what could be our most disruptive lineup yet,” Lynch tweeted Monday, along with a festival schedule.

Lynch is known for his visually unique and disturbing films Eraserhead, The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive, as well as the TV series Twin Peaks.
