Deadly attack hits Libya electoral commission: security official

Tripoli (AFP) – A deadly attack hit Libya’s electoral commission in the capital Tripoli on Wednesday, an official responsible for security in the city told AFP.

“We have some martyrs and people injured,” the official said on condition of anonymity.

Witnesses said shots were heard and smoke could be seen rising from the headquarters of the national election commission.
