Deer crashes through window into New Jersey home

June 20 (UPI) — Police in New Jersey responded to a home where they rescued a deer that broke into the house through a window and found itself trapped.

The Princeton Police Department said officers responded to a reported break-in and arrived at the home to find the suspect was a deer that crashed through a front window.

The fire marshal and animal control officers also responded to the scene and were able to set the deer free by removing a basement door.

The deer did not appear to have any serious injuries, although it suffered some cuts from broken glass, police said.
