Djukanovic elected Montenegro president, party claims

Podgorica (Montenegro) (AFP) – Pro-Western former-prime minister Milo Djukanovic was elected president of Montenegro in the first round of voting on Sunday, according to his party.

Social Democratic Party (DPS) leader Milos Nikolic told journalists at the party’s headquarters: “Djukanovic is the new president of Montenegro… there will be no second round.”
