Jan. 18 (UPI) — New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his sons did drills and met with coach Sean Payton this week.

It is unknown if Baylen Brees, 9, earned a futures contract, but he looked solid while performing agility drills.

Brees, 39, posted videos and photos of his sons on social media Wednesday and Thursday.

“Running a little obstacle course at the Saints facility!” Brees wrote on a video of Baylen. His oldest son held a football in the footage, before running toward a series of dummies. He jumped over a couple to start the exercise, before splitting two more and then running over a few more fake defenders.

Despite taking the contact, Baylen remained on his feet and sprinted through the rest of the course, before ending his run with a dive.

He posted a photo on Thursday with sons Bowen, Callen and Baylen sitting in Payton’s office.

“Brees boys had an official interview with head coach Sean Payton today to be ball boys at the Pro Bowl for the NFC!” Brees wrote in the caption for the photo of his three boys with Payton.

The Brees trio gave Payton handwritten applications for the gig.

“Baylen, Bowen and Callen crushed the interview today!! They will be joining the NFC team @NFLProBowl Congrats boys,” Payton tweeted.

Brees’ 3-year-old daughter Rylen did not make a cameo in the social media posts.

Payton and his staff will coach the NFC team at the Pro Bowl on Jan. 28 in Orlando. Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin and his assistants will coach the AFC squad.

Brees, 39, was selected to the Pro Bowl for an 11th time this season. He has gotten the nod for the game in eight of the last nine seasons.
