Driver of vehicle that drove into German crowd has killed himself: police

Berlin (AFP) – The driver of a vehicle that killed several people when it ploughed into a crowd in the German city of Munster on Saturday killed himself, police told AFP. 

“The driver shot himself,” a police spokeswoman said, adding that around 30 people were injured in the incident. 

Police earlier said that several “deaths and injuries” had occurred in the incident in the western German city.
