Duque leads Colombia poll: partial results

Bogota (AFP) – Conservative Ivan Duque held a commanding lead in Sunday’s presidential poll in Colombia with more than two-thirds of the vote counted, officials said.

Duque obtained 55.5 percent of the vote compared to his leftist rival Gustavo Petro’s 40.3 percent with more than 68 percent of the ballots counted, according to the electoral authority.
