Feb. 13 (UPI) — Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade didn’t play with the Cleveland Cavaliers for long, but he knows Channing Frye enough to throw in a good jab at his former teammate.

The NBA’s official Twitter account tweeted a video of Frye lifting weights on Monday in Los Angeles Lakers training gear. Frye was traded to the Lakers Thursday in a deal that awarded the Cavaliers with Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.

Wade was also traded Thursday. He went from the Cavaliers to the Heat, in exchange for a heavily-protected second-round draft pick.

When Wade saw the NBA’s tweet about his former teammate, he couldn’t help but joke about Frye’s workout habits.

“That’s all for the cameras,” Wade tweeted. “He never lift weights.”

Frye responded a few hours later with his own tweet.

“D-wan-ye you know I gotta get my beach body right now that I’m in Cali!!” Frye responded.

Frye, 34, is in his 13th year in the NBA. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2005 NBA Draft played for the New York Knicks, Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns and Orlando Magic before joining the Cavaliers during the 2015-2016 season. He won a championship with the Cavaliers in his first year with the team.
