ECB’s Draghi voices ‘concern about state of international relations’

Frankfurt am Main (AFP) – ECB chief Mario Draghi raised concerns Thursday about the state of international relations after US Donald Trump sparked fears of a trade war with his threat to impose punitive tariffs on steel and aluminium imports.

“There is a certain worry or concern about the state of international relations, because if you put tariffs against… your allies, one wonders who the enemies are,” said Draghi, warning that “unilateral decisions are dangerous”.
