May 19 (UPI) — Erika Jayne says former Real Housewives of New York star Dorinda Medley reached out amid her legal drama with her ex-husband Tom Girardi.
Jayne, who stars on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, said on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live that Medley and other stars from the Real Housewives franchise supported her during her divorce from Girardi and their legal issues.
Jayne filed for divorce from Girardi in November 2020 after more than 21 years of marriage. News later broke that Girardi was being accused of misappropriating millions of dollars in client funds.
Jayne’s divorce and legal issues were a central plot point in RHOBH Season 11 and caused tensions with her cast mates.
On WWHL, Jayne said she is friendly with Medley and Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Kenya Moore and Kandi Burruss.
“Kenya and Kandi both reached out, Dorinda,” she said. “You know, when I think about the women that reached out to me during this really dark moment in my life — and I really appreciate it, I really do — those are the women that come to mind.”
Jayne said she first met Medley “long before” her issues with Girardi.
“She told me about when her husband died, and that no one contacted her,” Jayne said of Medley. “I kind of feel the same way. You know, Tom’s not dead but legally he is dead, as ugly as that sounds.”
Jayne also addressed her conflict with her RHOBH co-star Garcelle Beauvais, saying she doesn’t regret throwing Beauvais’ book in the trash amid their feud.
“Well, listen, there’s the unfollow, there’s the shady post, and that was my response,” she said.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is in its 12th season on Bravo. The series also stars Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Dorit Kemsley, Crystal Kung Minkoff, Sutton Stracke and Diana Jenkins.
