Hockenheim (Germany) (AFP) – Pierre Gasly will start Sunday’s German Grand Prix from the back of the grid after Red Bull fitted his Toro Rosso car with a new Honda power unit.

The Frenchman qualified 16th on Saturday, but will start the race alongside Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull, who has taken a similar set of penalties after switching to a new Renault unit.

Sebastian Vettel sets off from pole in his Ferrari with Lewis Hamilton relegated to the seventh row after his Mercedes broke down in qualifying.

The race at Hockenheim is due off at 1310GMT.
