June 12 (UPI) — Carolina Panthers kicker Graham Gano might not be welcomed back to play kickball after his latest exploit.

Gano returned home on Tuesday to find his family playing the sport in the driveway. He decided to jump in and take a swipe. The NFL veteran ran up and belted the ball over a fence and ran around the bases gleefully.

The 31-year-old kicker made his first Pro Bowl in 2017, making a league-high 96.7 percent of his kicks. His only miss came on an attempt from more than 50 yards out.

“Got home today and my fam was playing kickball so I joined in,” Gano wrote on Twitter. “The only rule is that I’m not allowed to kick it hard. So here is my first at bat …”

Earlier in the day Gano was seen in a Twitter video while tossing footballs at Panthers practice as part of the “crossbar challenge.”

Gano is in his seventh season with the Panthers. He signed a four-year, $17 million contract in March. The nine-year veteran has made 81.7 percent of his career field goal attempts.

The Panthers wrap up mandatory minicamp on Thursday. They return for training camp in late July at Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C.
