Gwyneth Paltrow ‘enjoying’ wedding planning: ‘It’s a very happy time’

May 1 (UPI) — Bride-to-be Gwyneth Paltrow says she’s “really enjoying” wedding planning.

The 45-year-old actress discussed her upcoming nuptials on Tuesday’s episode of Good Morning America after getting engaged to producer Brad Falchuk in January.

“I’ve never had a wedding or any of these fun, like, bride kind of things,” Paltrow told ABC News correspondent Kayna Whitworth. “So I’m really enjoying myself.”

“It’s a very happy time, I have to say,” she added.

Paltrow was previously married to singer Chris Martin, but eloped with the Coldplay frontman instead of having a traditional wedding. She said her favorite “bride moment” thus far has been feeling the love from her friends and family.

“I’m super lucky in that I have these incredible relationships in my life. To feel that love and support from our community is really, really special,” the star shared. “It makes me cry every time.”

Jennifer Aniston, Kate Hudson, Cameron Diaz, Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts, Demi Moore, Liv Tyler and Falchuk’s producing partner Ryan Murphy were among those to attend Paltrow and Falchuk’s engagement party in April.

“Thank you @mrrpmurphy for the most incredible evening to celebrate our [love],” Paltrow said on Instagram after the bash. “There will never be adequate words to express our gratitude.”

“Thank you to all of our amazing true and dear friends who came to support us,” she added. “We feel like the luckiest people on the planet because we have all of you in our lives. And most of all thank you @bradfalchuk for the true happiness.”

Paltrow told Good Morning America her two children are also “excited” for her to marry Falchuk. She shares 13-year-old daughter Apple and 12-year-old son Moses with Martin.
