June 24 (UPI) — England midfielder Jesse Lingard sniped a 20 yard screamer during a World Cup win against Panama Sunday in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia.

The score came in the 36th minute of England’s 6-1 win at Nizhny Novgorod Stadium. England led 2-0 when Lingard received a pass from Ashley Young on the left flank.

He worked the ball toward the box before sliding a pass to Raheem Sterling. The England forward turned and then tapped the ball back to Lingard with the outside of his right boot.

Lingard let the ball roll to his right foot on the give-and-go, before blasting it upper-90 into the far post netting, beating Panama keeper Jaime Penedo.

After netting the screamer, Lingard showed off his moves by performing the shoot dance and celebrating with his teammates.

John Stones and Harry Kane started the scoring for England, netting goals in the eighth and 22nd minute, respectively. Stones added another in the 40th minute, while Kane added his second in first half stoppage time. Kane completed his hat trick in the 62nd minute.

Felipe Baloy scored the only goal for Panama.

England wraps up Group G play with a match against Belgium at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kaliningrad Stadium in Kaliningrad, Russia. The squad advanced into the round of 16 with Sunday’s triumph.
