May 1 (UPI) — Celebrity couple Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are celebrating 22 years of marriage.
The 47-year-old television personality and Consuelos, also 47, shared throwback photos on their wedding anniversary Tuesday.
Ripa posted a slideshow of pictures on Instagram, including snapshots of her elopement with Consuelos. The couple tied the knot at Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas.
“Feliz Aniversario lover! 22 years,” Ripa captioned the post. “You’re a human rollercoaster that I’m all enough to ride. @instasuelos.”
Consuelos dedicated a post to Ripa on his own Instagram account.
“5-1-96… happy 22nd anniversary Boo.. seems like yesterday to me.. I’m sure it feels a lot longer to you.. (honeymoon photo Capri, Italy ..we’re still banned from that hotel… it was worth it),” the actor wrote.
Ripa and Consuelos made headlines in March after the actor shared a photo of Ripa in a bikini during their vacation. Consuelos defended Ripa after social media users body-shamed the Live! with Kelly and Michael host.
“Yes she’s wearing a bikini at age 47 and will no doubt wear one for many years to come,” the actor said. “If that offends you in some way, if it triggers you, or some other psychosis you’re suffering from, I suggest you get over it and get used to it.”
Ripa and Consuelos have three children, 20-year-old son Michael, 16-year-old daughter Lola and 15-year-old son Joaquin. Ripa shared a slideshow of family photos on Consuelos’ 47th birthday in March.
“Loved by all, especially me!” the television personality said.
