June 26 (UPI) — Khloe Kardashian says she’s “rebuilding” with Tristan Thompson in the wake of his cheating scandal.
The 33-year-old television personality addressed her relationship with Thompson in a tweet Monday after a fan criticized her for staying with the 27-year-old NBA star.
“You have no knowledge of what goes on in our household or the enormous rebuilding this takes to even coexist,” Kardashian wrote.
The fan called Kardashian a hypocrite for preaching “about women knowing their self worth and when to walk away” but not doing so with Thompson.
“I’m proud of my strength,” Kardashian responded. “I appreciate your opinion and I hope you hold that same opinion to everyone else who has stayed in situations.”
Kardashian gave birth to True, her daughter with Thompson, in April following reports Thompson was unfaithful during her pregnancy. The couple have largely kept out of the spotlight since, but stepped out together for a friend’s birthday this month.
In addition, Kardashian and Thompson sparked engagement rumors following a dinner Sunday at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, according to TMZ. Kardashian was spotted wearing a large diamond ring on her left hand.
