LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) — Lamar Odom broke his silence on estranged wife Khloe Kardashian in a new interview Wednesday.
The 36-year-old former NBA player opened up about the 31-year-old reality star to Entertainment Tonight while attending Kobe Bryant’s final game with the Los Angeles Lakers.
“We did talk, you know, everything is [up for] discussion,” Odom said of his future with Kardashian. “We talk about anything. We’ve been through a lot. It won’t ever stop.”
The interview came amid rumors Kardashian is planning to refile for divorce. The pair called off their divorce following Odom’s hospitalization, but Kardashian alluded to being done with Odom after he was spotted at a bar in March.
“I mean, it gets tough, especially if so much gets speculated,” the former NBA player said of the photos that surfaced of him at a pub. “Only a few people know the truth, and I just keep that close to my heart.”
Odom was discovered unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel in October and later confirmed to have cocaine in his system. Sources told People Kardashian will resume divorce proceedings in light of Odom’s recent outing to the bar.
“[She’s] ready to move on,” an insider said. “She doesn’t agree with some of Lamar’s choices in the past few weeks. She plans on refiling for divorce soon. She and Lamar are just figuring out the finances first.”
“Khloe was there for Lamar when he needed her,” the source added. “She spent months making sure he got the best care and was able to recover. Lamar was her main focus, and it was draining for her. Lamar is ready to be on his own now.”
Kardashian wrote a cryptic but emotional post about letting go of “what’s meant to stay broken” this week, saying, “Sometimes the person you want most is the person you’re best without.” She and Odom were married four years before their initial split in 2013.
