June 27 (UPI) — Lego has announced 22 new minifigures based on characters from both Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts that are set for release on Aug. 1.
New versions of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Gramger in school robes complete with their pets Hedwig, Scabbers and Crookshanks are a part of the lineup along with Fantastic Beasts main characters Newt Scamander, Jacob Kowalski, Tina Goldstein and her sister Queenie Goldstein.
Lord Voldemort, Albus Dumbledore, Draco Malfoy in Quidditch Robes, Neville Longbottom, Dobby, Luna Lovegood, Mad-Eye Moody, Cho Chang, Credence Barebone, Percival Graves, Dean Thomas, Cedric Diggory, Professor Flitwick, Professor Trelawney and Harry Potter in Pajamas round out the rest of the minifigures that will be available.
The minifigures, which will retail for $3.99 each, arrive the same time as Lego’s upcoming Wizarding World sets inspired by locations from the Harry Potter films including the Great Hall in Hogwarts where students at the school enjoyed their meals.
Lego posted on Twitter a photo of the minifigures posing together inside what appears to be the Great Hall from the set of the films. The official Harry Potter Twitter account for the films, meanwhile, posted photos of the new Harry, Ron and Hermione figures.
The next film in the Fantastic Beasts franchise, The Crimes of Grindelwald, is set to arrive in theaters on Nov. 16.
