London airport gets into Star Wars Day spirit

May 4 (UPI) — London’s largest airport is celebrating Star Wars Day with departure boards listing “special new routes” to a galaxy far, far away.

Heathrow Airport tweeted photos of its special departure boards for Star Wars Day — aka May the 4th, a play on the series’ catchphrase, “may the force be with you,” — listing locations from the series including Tatooine, Jakku, Hoth and Endor.

A flight to Alderaan is listed as “canceled” for reasons that will be familiar to anyone familiar with the series, while the flight to Kessel is listed as “flight duration now less than 12 parsecs.”

“Allow extra time for boarding… possibly a trap,” the departure board says next to the listing for a flight to the Death Star.

“Good morning from Heathrow. The force is strong with us today and we’ve got some special new routes. Will you be travelling to galaxies near… or far, far away?” the airport tweeted.

The airport also tweeted out an image of an AT-AT walker vehicle on the tarmac.
