June 7 (UPI) — Mariah Carey appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live and described how her 7-year-old son Moroccan Scott Cannon once spent $5,000 shopping online and ordered a dog without permission.

“My son is like a technological genius,” the singer said about how Moroccan ordered a dog online.

“I have to control them with iPads because literally he charged $5,000 on Amazon,” she said before detailing how Moroccan’s father and her ex-husband Nick Cannon dealt with the ordered dog.

“They called him and they were like, ‘Your dog is ready.’ And he was like, ‘I didn’t order any damn dog!’” Carey said.

“We have enough dogs! The dog’s been cancelled,” she continued about how the dog was not delivered to her son.

Carey also shared with Kimmel how she had Moroccan and his twin sister Monroe Cannon record a song together.

“No one’s heard it yet. They’re definitely talented,” Carey said. “They’re very unique kids and they’re super smart. I wrote the song but my daughter was like, ‘I really need to get back in the studio!’ and I’m like, ‘Are you me?’”

Carey is unsure if she will release the song, which she dubbed “Roc and Roe.”

“I have to talk it over with Nick and see how he feels about it,” she said. “I would be very angry if he released a song without asking me.”
