New York (AFP) – The New York Times and The New Yorker on Monday won the Pulitzer Prize for public service, for revealing the Harvey Weinstein sexual misconduct scandal that spawned the #MeToo cultural watershed.
The prestigious prize was awarded to the Times team led by Jodi Kantor and New Yorker contributor Ronan Farrow, for the explosive reporting that brought down the Hollywood mogul and sparked an avalanche of accusations against other powerful men.
