New York (AFP) – New York prosecutors filed a civil rights lawsuit Sunday against the company co-founded by Harvey Weinstein, the veteran producer whose career imploded amid scores of sexual misconduct allegations ranging from harassment to rape.
The suit comes four months after allegations hit the Hollywood heavyweight, who is reportedly in treatment for sexual addiction as he faces parallel investigations by police in New York and London. Weinstein has repeatedly denied having non-consensual sex.
